David Walters

David Walters is the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Leading Edge Power Solutions, LLC (LEPS).
Beyond managing operations, developing and implementing company culture, and maintaining the mission and vision of LEPS, Walters serves as the primary spokesperson and oversees company development to manage the public image of the organization. He’s also responsible for developing and executing business strategies to grow sales while managing operating and commodity costs. Walters is especially focused on reducing carbon footprints by creating resiliencies in the organization in support of clean planet initiatives.
Prior to forming LEPS, Walters served as Chairman & CEO of Monarch Bay Securities, an investment banking firm that he co-founded in 2006. The firm primarily sourced capital for emerging growth companies. Previously in 2001, Walters established Laguna Advisory Partners which acquires and operates businesses in both the private and public sectors as a principal investor. Walters’ eight years at Monarch Bay Securities is preceded by 20 years in capital formation for early-stage emerging growth companies, both as transaction advisor and as a principal investor.
Walters received his Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego.
Mimi Walters

Mimi Walters is the Chief Commercial Officer of Leading Edge Power Solutions, LLC (LEPS). She is a member of the Board of Directors for B. Riley Financial, Inc. and Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc.
In her role as CCO, Walters leads the business development initiatives for LEPS with a focus on regulatory affairs and relationship building. Acting as a liaison between LEPS, government agencies, and policymakers, Walters works closely with government officials who shape policy around clean energy sources and solutions.
Walters is a former member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Orange County, representing California’s 45th Congressional District from 2015-2019. During her tenure, she served on the Energy and Commerce Committee where she gained insight into the issues facing the technology, healthcare, energy, and environmental sectors. Prior to her election to Congress, Walters served in both the California State Senate and California State Assembly.
Walters earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Mark Schneider

Mark Schneider is a Co-Founder of Leading Edge Power Solutions, LLC (LEPS).
His responsibilities complement those of Chairman & CEO David Walters, centering on future growth and business development projects for LEPS. Schneider is driving energy behind ideas for product growth and sourcing relationships with other energy suppliers and vendors, especially as it relates to mutual benefits in natural gas as a cleaner energy alternative.
Schneider is an entrepreneur with a long history of developing ideas into fully-fledged and financially feasible solutions. He started a company that provided owners of large apartment complexes in the Michigan market with a competitively bundled cable, internet, and phone service, at the dawn of the cable TV era. He also developed an environmentally sensitive medical waste disposal company. His last project was a catalyst for building LEPS; Schneider was converting old engines for cars and trucks to run on natural gas to help reduce the carbon footprint of those vehicles.
Schneider earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from Wayne State University, with executive management studies from the University of Chicago.
Kris Kervick

Kris Kervick is the Chief Operations Officer of Leading Edge Power Solutions, LLC (LEPS).
As the COO, Kervick is responsible for the implementation of procedures and systems for LEPS including agent training and structure, supplier management, strategic and sales avenues, risk assessment, marketing, and interactions with customers, vendors, contractors, and manufacturers. He focuses on ensuring appropriate systems, processes, and procedures that meet performance management arrangements are in place to deliver consistently high-quality level of service; and day-to-day data, systems, and reporting to analyze input and output for consistency and repeatability.
Kervick has been working at the executive level of operations in the energy management technology and manufacturing industries for the last 25 years. His most recent roles include Managing Partner of MetalWorkings and COO/QM of Omni Turbine Parts, and COO of Arizona Cast Turbine.
Kervick earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from Assumption College, with MBA Studies from the University of New Hampshire.
Dick Paulsen

Dick Paulsen is the President and Co-Founder of Leading Edge Power Solutions, LLC (LEPS). He also sits on the boards of multiple non-profit organizations.
Paulsen’s experience and knowledge in the energy field fit well in his role as President. He not only helps set the vision for LEPS but also helps manage the execution of that vision. Paramount to his role is the overall management of the LEPS team to deliver on customer expectations, and his prime focuses are developing new products and expanding service offerings for the ever-changing energy market.
Paulsen’s extensive industry relationships and over 25 years of experience in the energy markets bring critical exposure and credibility to the LEPS brand. Most recently, before joining LEPS, he was the Founder and CEO of Pargen, Inc., an energy consulting and business development firm specializing in Distributed Energy Resources (DER). Prior to Pargen, he was the COO of Commonwealth Energy, Inc., a national retailer of renewable electricity. His executive experience also includes companies in the fields of advertising, medical imaging, and computer software.
Paulsen received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, with graduate work in computer sciences from Loyola Marymount.
